“Papam Prathap” is an okayish village drama with a few fun moments that work. Thiruveer delivers a good performance, while Ajay Gosh brings some laughs. The first half is passable, but the second half loses grip as the drama unfolds. Better execution of the emotional angle and stronger writing could have elevated the film further. #Rating: 2.75/5.
