Ahmedabad Doctor Arrested In PM-JAY Fraud After Patient Deaths

Dr. Sanjay Patolia, involved in the Khyati Hospital fraud under the PM-JAY Scheme, was arrested by Ahmedabad’s crime branch. The case stems from two patient deaths after stents were wrongly placed at the hospital. While Patolia was detained, two other key suspects, Rajshree Kothari and hospital CEO Kartik Patel, remain at large. Seven people have been arrested in total, including Dr. Patolia.
