Kerala Man Sentenced To 90 Years For Raping Differently-Abled Girl

A 48-year-old man, Babu George, has been sentenced to a total of 90 years in prison by a Kerala court for repeatedly raping a 14-year-old differently-abled girl in 2020. The Pathanamthitta Additional District and Sessions Judge imposed the sentence under the POCSO Act, along with fines totaling ₹3.5 lakh. The victim reported that George had threatened her during the assaults, which led to his arrest.
