BMW has officially launched the X7 Signature Edition in India, priced at ₹1.33 crore (ex-showroom). This special edition is a limited cosmetic update based on the existing X7 xDrive40i variant, commanding a premium of ₹3 lakh over the standard model. Exclusively available through BMW’s online store, the X7 Signature Edition introduces several distinctive features.
The exterior showcases Swarovski glass cut crystal daytime running lamps with a unique glow pattern, along with satinated aluminium roof rails and other exterior elements. Buyers can choose between two elegant color options: Tanzanite Blue and Dravit Grey.
Inside, the X7 Signature Edition is adorned with an instrument panel finished in Individual leather, complemented by crystal door pins and Alcantara comfort cushions for rear passengers. Notable interior features include a 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 12.3-inch digital driver display, head-up display, and a panoramic sunroof.
Under the hood, the SUV is powered by a 3.0-litre, 6-cylinder turbo petrol engine equipped with mild-hybrid technology, producing 381 hp and 520 Nm of peak torque. This setup enables the X7 to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.8 seconds, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and xDrive all-wheel drive. The X7 competes with rivals like the Volvo XC90, Mercedes-Benz GLS, and Audi Q7.
