A gas explosion in a coal mine in Iran’s South Khorasan Province has resulted in at least 19 fatalities and 12 injuries, according to state reports. Officials indicate that around 30 individuals remain trapped inside the mine following the blast. Rescue operations are underway as authorities work to locate and assist those still stuck in the hazardous environment, said officials.
