At least 8 militants were killed and several others injured during a joint police and CTD operation in Pakistan’s Bannu district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The intelligence-based raid also left one police officer dead and another injured. Security forces targeted militant hideouts and launched a search operation after the gunfight to trace remaining suspects.
