Heavy Rain Wreaks Havoc In Darjeeling: 14 Dead

Continuous overnight rain has wreaked havoc across North Bengal, killing 14 people in landslides at Darjeeling’s Mirik and Sukhia Pokhari. Officials warned the toll may rise as rescue efforts continue. Landslides have severed road links between West Bengal and Sikkim, while heavy rainfall has caused severe waterlogging in Jalpaiguri, Siliguri, and Coochbehar.
