Supreme Court To Hear J&K Statehood Petition Today

The Supreme Court will hear a petition today demanding the prompt restoration of Jammu & Kashmir’s statehood and enforcement of its December 2023 directives. A bench led by CJI BR Gavai will preside. Although the Centre was asked to respond by August 14, it has yet to file any reply. It is known that many people were demanding the statehood of J&K.
