Ahead of the Delhi assembly elections, over 500 cases of Model Code of Conduct violations were registered between January 7-22, police officials said on Thursday. Delhi Police intensified border checks, confiscating 270 firearms, 372 cartridges, 44,265 liters of liquor worth ₹1.3 crore, drugs worth ₹20 crore, and over 1,200 banned injections.
