The current vote counting trends from the West Bengal Assembly Election 2026 show the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ahead in 155 seats, while the All India Trinamool Congress (AITMC) leads in 105. Vote counting began at 8 am across 40 centres covering 293 constituencies. However, the polling was held in two phases on April 23 and 29 in Bengal.
