West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee said PM Narendra Modi could enjoy a boat ride on the Hooghly, as it is clean, unlike Delhi’s Yamuna, which she claimed is polluted. Speaking at a rally in Howrah, she credited state efforts for beautifying the Hooghly riverfront. She also criticized the condition of rivers under BJP-led governance in Delhi.
