Belgium’s Supreme Court has rejected fugitive diamond trader Mehul Choksi’s appeal against India’s extradition request in the ₹13,000-crore PNB fraud case. Choksi fled to Antigua in 2018 but was later traced to Belgium. Officials said extradition proceedings will now begin, after courts found the arrest warrants valid and no risk of unfair treatment in India.
