Intense pre-monsoon showers lashed Mumbai, causing severe waterlogging, traffic jams and road closures across western suburbs like Andheri, Jogeshwari and Borivali. The Andheri Subway was shut after water rose to four feet, with vehicles diverted. Slow traffic hit airport routes as IMD warned of more showers in the coming days across the city.
