The Supreme Court has set up a high-powered expert panel, led by Kanchan Devi, to review the Centre’s Aravalli definition report and resolve key ambiguities. The committee must submit its findings by August 31, 2026, examining ecological concerns, mining impacts, and scientific accuracy, following the court’s earlier stay on the October 2025 report.
