“Toaster” offers a partly engaging comedy drama with a solid premise but an underwhelming screenplay. Rajkummar Rao delivers a hilarious performance, supported well by Sanya Malhotra and the cast. Despite some funny moments, the film falls short of its eccentric promise, ending up as an average watch. Rating: 2.75. Overall, a decent one-time watch.
