Govt Hikes Diesel Export Duty To ₹55.5/litre, ATF Levy Raised To ₹42

The Indian government has sharply increased export duty on diesel from ₹21.5 to ₹55.5 per litre and on aviation turbine fuel to ₹42 per litre with immediate effect. The move aims to manage domestic fuel supply and curb excessive exports amid global oil volatility, while petrol export duty remains unchanged at zero.
