Supreme Court Rejects PIL On Voter List Duplication

Supreme Court on Monday declined to entertain a PIL requesting directions to the Election Commission and state election bodies to address alleged duplication and multiple entries in voter lists. A bench, led by Chief Justice Sanjiv Khanna and Justice Sanjay Kumar, stated that it cannot issue blanket directions to all authorities concerning this matter.
