US President Donald Trump announced he will designate Antifa, shorthand for “anti-fascist” far-left groups, as a “major terrorist organization.” On Truth Social, he called Antifa a “sick, dangerous, radical left disaster” and vowed to recommend investigations into its funding, stressing adherence to the “highest legal standards and practices” in the process.
