CLOSING BELL: Stock Markets End In Green On Wednesday

Indian stock markets settled higher on Wednesday, mirroring their global peers. Sensex soared to an intra-day high of 80,511.15 before settling at 80,234.08, up 230.02 points or 0.29% from its previous close. Similarly, Nifty settled at 24,274.90, up 80.40 points or 0.33%. Among broader markets, Smallcap index ending higher by 1.30% and Midcap index ended higher by 0.64%.
