Thousands Of US Govt Employees Get WFH Deal

The Biden administration secured hybrid work protections for 42,000 Social Security staff under a new deal with the American Federation of Govt Employees. The deal, signed by outgoing SSA Commissioner Martin O’Malley, extends telework until 2029. Employees will maintain current telework levels, with office attendance required two to five days weekly, depending on roles.
