Reliance-Disney Merger Creates ₹70,352 Crore Joint Venture

Reliance Industries completed its merger with Disney’s India business, forming a joint venture valued at ₹70,352 crore. Viacom 18, Reliance, and Disney now share stakes in the venture, with Reliance holding 16.34%, Viacom 18 46.82%, and Disney 36.84%. The venture combines TV channels and digital platforms like JioCinema and Hotstar, with a combined revenue of ₹26,000 crore.
