Congress Seeks Immediate Rollout Of Women’s Quota

The Congress in Goa has urged the PM Modi government to immediately implement the 2023 women’s reservation law by applying a 33% quota to the current 543 LS seats. AICC secretary Anjali Nimbalkar accused the BJP of delaying implementation through delimitation plans ahead of the 2029 polls, while stressing Congress support for women’s representation.
