The Goa government will soon issue orders to regularise over 5,000 houses under the Mhaje Ghar scheme, CM Pramod Sawant said. Around 3,000 orders are ready or issued. The scheme aims to grant ownership rights to residents of long-standing unauthorised houses on government or community land. A programme in Margao will distribute orders to 1,000 beneficiaries.
