Yamuna Bazar, a caregiver at one of the shelter homes at Dandi Park, stated, “There are five shelter homes here. They closed on July 12 due to flooding, and the Supreme Court is currently considering a case involving them. Homeless people have made all of the arrangements here, and food is not provided. Since the beginning, I have been employed here for the past eight or nine years.”
The national capital saw late arrivals of trains from Bhopal to Nizamuddin, Bangalore to Nizamuddin, and Bhubaneshwar to New Delhi. Ranikamlapati and Rajdhani Howrah and Bhopal are both in New Delhi.
