EC Replaces Bengal Acting DGP, Kolkata Police Chief

The Election Commission of India replaced key West Bengal police officials ahead of state elections. Acting DGP and Kolkata Police Commissioner Supratim were replaced by Siddh Nath Gupta and Ajay Kumar Nand. Additional top officers, including Vineet Kumar Goyal, were also shifted. These moves aim to ensure free and peaceful elections on April 23 and 29.
