A cyclonic circulation has formed over the southeast Bay of Bengal, centered 990 km from Visakhapatnam, moving west-northwest. It is expected to intensify into a severe cyclonic storm within 24 hours and may become a full-fledged cyclone by the 27th. Coastal AP is likely to be affected, with landfall over the southwest-west Bay of Bengal.
