Nirmala Kickstarts Her Budget Speech With Gurajada’s Poetry

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has kickstarted her budget speech with famous Telugu poet Gurajada Apparao’s poem. She chanted Gurajada’s famous poem ‘Desamante Mattikadovi… Desamante Manasulovi.’ Apparao wrote the play was considered the greatest play in the Telugu language, and he holds the title of ‘Kavisekhara’.
