AP Govt Deploys 11K Power Staff To Combat Cyclone Montha

Andhra Pradesh CS Vijayanand stated that 11,000 energy department employees were deployed in response to the impact of Cyclone Montha. The decision is taken to avoid the interruptions of power supply and power infrastructure of the state. However, some issues occurred at nine 220 kV substations, four 400 kV substations, and eleven 132 kV substations.
