The USA has stepped up its economic fight against Iran by cautioning firms against engaging with Iranian airlines. The US Treasury Dept warned that businesses offering support, including fuel supply, ground services, or airport fees, could face punitive sanctions. It also urged state-linked enterprises to halt cooperation, and tighten financial restrictions.
