PMAY-G Celebrates 8th Anniversary With Focus On Women Ownership

Government announced that 74% of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana–Gramin (PMAY-G) houses are owned by women, with plans for 100% women’s ownership. Additionally, nearly 300,000 rural masons have been trained in disaster-resilient construction, enhancing their employability. The PMAY-G scheme, launched by PM Modi on November 20, 2016, celebrates its 8th anniversary.
