Actor Nagababu and pioneering director Ram Gopal Varma engaged in a verbal sparring session on Twitter on the Rs 1 crore bounty placed on RGV's head. As is already known, social activist Kolikapudi Sreenivasa Rao offered a reward of Rs 1 crore to anyone who decapitated Ram Gopal Varma, and the latter lodged a case in Vijayawada.
Actor Nagababu and groundbreaking director Ram Gopal Varma sparred verbally about the Rs 1 crore bounty on RGV’s head on Twitter. Ram Gopal Varma filed a lawsuit in Vijayawada after social activist Kolikapudi Sreenivasa Rao, as is well known, offered a prize of Rs 1 lakh to anyone who decapitated him. In an earlier television debate, Kolikapudi had said, “If someone brings Ram Gopal Varma’s head, I will pay him one crore rupees.” He was asked to retract his remarks by the shocked anchor. This incident happened after a discussion on RGV’s “Vyooham.”
Later, in response to Kolikapudi Sreenivasa Rao’s remarks, actor-politician Naga Babu denounced them and added that RGV need not be concerned about anything of the sort because a hero and a villain would not murder a comic in a fight. He also suggested that RGV go to bed and drink a peg of vodka. In response, Ram Gopal Varma tweeted back at Naga Babu, claiming that the actor from “Vyooham” is a greater comic than he is. RGV suggested that Naga Babu ask Pawan Kalyan for some cash so that he could buy tea.
