Following intervention by Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena, power discoms in Delhi have provided electricity connections to 6,791 of the 10,802 applicants living in unauthorized colonies. Remaining applications are being processed, and connections will be provided soon, the Raj Niwas announced. In October, the DDA allowed discoms to grant power connections without needing a NOC.
