IMD Predicts Isolated Rainfall Over Several States
The IMD predicted isolated rainfall along with thunderstorms in Coastal AP, Yanam, Telangana, Lakshadweep, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal for the next 5 days.
The IMD predicted isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall in Konkan, Goa, Kerala, Mahe, Coastal, and South Interior Karnataka until July 19. The IMD predicted isolated rainfall along with thunderstorms in Coastal AP, Yanam, Telangana, Lakshadweep, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal for the next 5 days.
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a red alert to Ratnagiri district in Maharashtra on Monday, July 15. The IMD issued an orange alert to Raigad, Sindhudurg, Pune, Satara, Kolhapur, Parbhani, Hingoli, Amravati, Wardha, and Yavatmal districts in the state.
The IMD issued a yellow alert to Mumbai, Thane, Palghar, and Dhule districts, and it also forecasted moderate to heavy rainfall in the isolated areas of Mumbai city and suburbs. The IMD predicted rainfall in Madhya Pradesh for the next 2 days.
The IMD urged people to remain vigilant and take all necessary precautions for the next week due to rain. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) issued a warning of high tides for the next week.
The IMD predicted heavy rains in Bhadradri-Kothagudem, Jagtial, Adilabad, Mancherial, Jangaon, Karimnagar, Khammam, Mahbubnagar, Wanaparthy, Nirmal, Nagarkurnool, Nizamabad, Sirisilla, Warangal, Suryapet, Siddipet, Peddapalle, Mulugu, Medak, Rangareddy, and Hyderabad districts for the next 4 days.
