Nitish Kumar Resigned From Bihar Legislative Council

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar resigned from the Legislative Council today, fulfilling the constitutional requirement after his election to the Rajya Sabha on March 16. He is set to take the oath on April 10. His resignation, submitted via MLC Sanjay Gandhi, ends his long association with the Council, where he served multiple terms since 2006.
