Andhra Pradesh CM N. Chandrababu Naidu thanks PM Narendra Modi and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for the financial aid allocated in the Union Budget 2024–25. Naidu, whose TDP is a key partner in the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre, thanked Prime Minister Modi and Finance Minister Sitharaman for recognizing the needs of the state and focusing on the development of a capital, Polavaram, industrial nodes, and backward areas in AP. He also appreciated the center for presenting this progressive and confidence-building budget.
AP IT Minister and TDP General Secretary Nara Lokesh also praised the announcements made in the Union Budget and termed it a new dawn for the state. “I am very happy and grateful for the Union Finance Minister’s release today in the Budget. It will go a long way toward helping AP achieve its development and social objectives. Recognizing our struggle, it is a matter of pride for the people of Andhra Pradesh to get a unique and comprehensive package covering all important sectors like industrial growth, infrastructure, irrigation, and HRD,” Lokesh said.
“I would like to make a special mention of the generous contribution made to Amaravati, Polavaram. Today will be marked as Red Letter Day in the history of the new state. This is the first step in our march together to build our dream state,” he added.
