Three police officers were killed and sixteen injured when terrorists crashed an explosive-laden car into a police station in Dera Ismail Khan. At the main gate of DI Khan's Daraban police station, the police claim that terrorists crashed a car loaded with explosives. Havaldar, Riyasat, and Sepoy Zulfiqar, three police officers, were slain as a result. As the terrorists attempted to access the property, there was a gunfight between them and the police, during which the police shot two of them.

At the main gate of DI Khan’s Daraban police station, the police claim that terrorists crashed a car loaded with explosives. Havaldar, Riyasat, and Sepoy Zulfiqar, three police officers, were slain as a result. As the terrorists attempted to access the property, there was a gunfight between them and the police, during which the police shot two of them. Because of the attack, the roof of the police station fell. The police added that Daraban Tehsil has been totally blocked off and that the injured have been moved to DI Khan Hospital. Large police contingents have arrived at the scene. In the wake of the terror attack, Tehsil Draban’s schools and institutions have canceled their scheduled classes. There have been previous attacks on police stations in Dera Ismail Khan. Terrorists also used hand grenades and rockets during an earlier October attack on a police station in the Dera Ismail Khan area of KP. Two police officers were injured in an attack that was launched from two directions on the Hathala police station in Dera Ismail Khan. But the attackers were forced to retreat after the cops repelled their attack.
