Vanuatu Struck By 6.1 Magnitude Earthquake

A 6.1 magnitude earthquake struck Vanuatu’s main island on Sunday, shaking buildings but causing no major damage. This follows a devastating 7.3-magnitude quake on Tuesday that killed 12 people and damaged Port Vila. The latest quake, located 30 km west of the capital at a depth of 40 km, did not trigger a tsunami alert.
