Union Tourism and Culture Minister Kishan Reddy urged the public to cast their vote for the nation. The union minister made the statement on the occasion of National Voters’ Day. Since 2011, National Voters’ Day has beencelebrated on January 25 annually to mark the foundation day of the Election Commission of India. The ECI was founded on January 25, 1950.
Kishan Reddy thanked the Election Commission of India for ensuring the smooth conduct of polls. The union minister also specifically thanked the team at ECISVEEP for their invaluable hard work in strengthening our democratic fabric and ensuring the smooth conduct of polls. Reddy shared a post on ‘X’ and said, “Let us all work towards increasing voter turnout, that makes our democracy stronger.”
