Meanwhile, CM Revanth is embarking on a significant tour of Delhi, engaging in key meetings with top officials on Friday. CM Revanth met with the UPSC Chairman at a crucial meeting that lasted over one and a half hours on Friday.
Meanwhile, CM Revanth praised UPSC for its transparent recruitment processes. He also expressed the Telangana government’s intent to establish the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) on the lines of the UPSC. During the meeting, CM Revanth inquired about UPSC’s corruption-free functioning and sought the Commission’s cooperation in adopting new rules for TSPSC. However, the UPSC Chairman assured support and emphasized the importance of merit-based job appointments.
UPSC chairman Manoj Soni offered to train the new TSPSC chairman and members, as well as the staff, in the conduct of recruitment exams in a free and fair manner. CM Revanth Reddy stressed that he would carry out the job appointments of the TSPSC chairman and members without political interference. He also explained that staff will be appointed on a permanent basis without any irregularities.
