Former star cricketer Ambati Rayudu is likely to join the Jana Sena party very soon. In this regard, Ambati Rayudu met Jana Sena Party supremo Pawan Kalyan today. Meanwhile, it is known that Ambati Rayudu, who recently joined the ruling YSR Congress Party, left the party within 10 days after not getting the MLA ticket. According to political sources, Ambati Rayudu is almost finalized to join Pawan JKlyan’s Jana Sena Party.
Earlier, Ambati Rayudu said that he is taking a break from politics to focus on playing in the ILT20 cricket tournament in Dubai. Rayudu previously supported the Andhra Pradesh government, but he left because of a political move by AP Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy. Surprisingly, Rayudu is likely to join the arch-rival of the YSRCP, the Janasena party, ahead of the assembly and parliamentary polls in Andhra Pradesh.
According to Andhra Pradesh political circles, Ambati Rayudu hoped for an MLA ticket from Guntur constituency, but CM Jagan denied Rayudu’s decision. The Janasena Party will contest in alliance with the TDP for the upcoming 2024 assembly polls. Moreover, Janasena is contesting for limited and selective seats in the polls.
