World’s First 3D-Printed Hotel Emerges In Texas

A massive crane-sized 3D printer is constructing a hotel in the Texas desert, layer by layer. El Cosmico, a hotel and campground near Marfa, is expanding to add 43 hotel units and 18 residential homes across 40 acres using this technology. According to owner Liz Lambert and partners ICON and Bjarke Ingels Group, this marks the world’s first 3D-printed hotel, enabling innovative designs.
