A few weeks after the Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro, the brand's most recent flagship phones, made their debut in China, the company has announced the global launch date for the Vivo X100 series. These smartphones, which feature three separate primary and telephoto cameras on their rear panels, are outfitted with MediaTek's flagship Dimensity 9300 SoC. Like the previous models in the X series, the cameras are co-engineered with Zeiss.

These smartphones, which feature three separate primary and telephoto cameras on their rear panels, are outfitted with MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity 9300 SoC. Like the previous models in the X series, the cameras are co-engineered with Zeiss. Support for cable fast charging at 120W and 100W is available for the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro. On the company’s website, GSMArena noticed the date of the Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro’s worldwide launch. It has been updated on the home page for the Vivo X100 series launch event, stating the phones will be available on December 14. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer is anticipated to release the device in India as well, though a date has not yet been disclosed. The Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro were released in China last month. They are available in Chen Ye Black, Star Trail Blue, Sunset Orange, and White Moonlight (an acronym for translated white light) color schemes. Both smartphones run OriginOS 4, an Android 14-based operating system. With a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and a peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits, they have 6.78-inch AMOLED 8T LTPO curve displays. With a 4nm Dimensity 9300 CPU and up to 16GB of RAM, both phones are powered.
A 64-megapixel Zeiss periscope telephoto camera and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX920 VCS bionic main camera are featured on the regular Vivo X100, despite the fact that they both have triple rear camera configurations. The Pro version, on the other hand, sports a 50-megapixel Zeiss APO periscope telephoto camera in addition to a 50-megapixel Sony IMX989 1-inch type sensor. Third-generation 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle cameras are featured on both models. The phones come with an in-display fingerprint reader for biometric authentication and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage. Both the Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro have 5,000mAh batteries that can be charged for 120W and 5,400mAh batteries that can be charged for 100W. According to the manufacturer, they are both IP68-rated for resistance to water and dust.
