India’s First Zero-Waste Airport Converting Waste To Fertilizer

Indore’s Devi Ahilyabai Airport is set to become India’s first zero-waste airport on December 22. This initiative will implement a comprehensive waste management system, recycling waste from aircraft and airport facilities while converting wet waste into fertilizer. The airport aims to generate revenue from waste management. A new 3,000-square-foot recycling facility will also be inaugurated soon.
