YouTube Is ordered By Austria To Abide By EU Laws

YouTube was ordered by Austria’s data protection authority to comply with EU regulations and address user requests for data access. The case is based on a 2019 complaint filed by the privacy group Noyb, which claimed that a number of streaming services, including Netflix and YouTube. YouTube’s parent company, Google LLC, is the main target.
