CCPA Fines Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho For Illegal Walkie-Talkie Sales

India’s CCPA fined major e-commerce platforms for selling illegal walkie-talkies. Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho and Meta were fined ₹10 lakh each, while others faced smaller penalties, totaling ₹44 lakh. Probes found unauthorized PMR devices, misleading listings and missing certifications. CCPA rejected intermediary excuses and issued stricter 2025 rules.
