Indian Army To Get ‘Anant Shastra’ Air Defence Missile System

The Indian Army has issued a tender to Bharat Electronics Limited to purchase the DRDO-developed Anant Shastra air defence missile system. The expected price is around ₹30,000 crore and will strengthen the Army Air Defence. The Anant Shastra system will be placed at western and northern borders. The system is capable of searching and tracking targets.
