DRDO has marked a key milestone in hypersonic missile development by successfully conducting a long-duration ground test of its actively cooled scramjet combustor. The full-scale test by DRDL ran over 12 minutes, validated advanced scramjet design and facilities, and strengthened India’s position in cutting-edge hypersonic aerospace and defence capabilities.
