Australia Becomes 1st Country To Ban Social Media For Children Under 16

Australia’s Senate has approved legislation to ban children under 16 from using social media, making it the first country to introduce such a law. As a result, children in Australia will no longer be allowed to use platforms like TikTok, Facebook, Snapchat, X, Instagram, and other related apps. Parents will be responsible for ensuring their children do not use social media.
