Srisailam Dam Gates Closed As Flood Inflow Recedes

With flood-flow receding at Srisailam Dam in Nandyal district, crest gates have been closed. Inflows from Jurala and Sunkeshula stand at 65,985 cusecs, while 68,753 cusecs are being released into Nagarjuna Sagar through power generation at both Right and Left Bank Hydropower Stations. The dam’s level is 882.50 feet with 201.582 TMC storage.
