Airtel Pays ₹3,626 Crore Spectrum Dues, Boosts 5G Expansion

Telecom giant Bharti Airtel has cleared significant spectrum dues. On Thursday, the company announced that it paid ₹3,626 crore to the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) for the 2016 spectrum, settling all related dues. This payment is expected to freeing up funds to accelerate the expansion of the 5G network across the country.
